Hall of Fame

Wanda Denning is a true champion for education and specifically School-To-Career initiatives that prepare students for college and career. She has been involved in building communication between parents and schools, serving on the North Carolina PTA Board and as the president of Wake County PTA.

From 2013-2015, she was the North Carolina Extension and Community Association state president. Wanda has been involved with Fuquay-Varina High School and Fuquay-Varina Middle School\’s Business Alliance for 18 years and served as Business Alliance Chair for the past 12 years. Wanda currently chairs the Fuquay-Varina Chamber of Commerce education council. She has served on the School-To-Career Council for 11 years, and currently serves as the School-To-Career Council Co-Chair and Eastern Regional Business Alliance Chair.

Wanda Denning was inducted into the Wake County Public School System Hall of Fame in 2016.
